The work that I do in the classroom is directly influenced by the way in which I live my life outside of the classroom.  I am lucky enough to be married to my best friend and to have been blessed with three incredible children.  Together, we take every opportunity to explore the outdoors in our beautiful home state of Vermont.  The character traits and personal values that direct my life are the same ones which mark my interactions with my students and colleagues.
